What Victoria homeowners say
“Friendly sales crew and installation crew. Thank you Randall and Vlad. Great communication and prompt installation. Project was completed ahead of time. There was a bit of confusion with the billing timeline since the job start and completion dates were so close. Would have been easier to not split up the payment. Vlad and his crew were very friendly and provided some good recommendation on venting and were able to make adjustments during the install. Thanks for a great looking/functional toof”

See this roof 7 photos · Copper Penny Slate“I recently had my 25 year old asphalt roof replaced with an Interlock Metal roof. I'm so very happy with my decision. In fact, best decision ever to have Interlock Industries install. The metal roof is manufactured in Delta, BC and they have their own installers. It's not panels! It looks very much like a cedar roof! Color is awesome as well! My home looks great!”
See this roof 2 photos · Tudor Brown Cedar Shingle“We were leaning towards a standard metal roof to replace our old asphalt shingles and in preparation for solar panels. I decided to get a quote from interlock and was impressed with the product. Interlock was within 10% of my quote for a steel roof and there was a little bit of room for negotiation. The installers worked extremely hard and were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. We had a little bit of damage to a railing from when the old roof was being removed. They offered compensation, but I was able to clean it up so it is hardly noticeable. When it rains hard, there is a pleasant pitter patter sound - not loud or disturbing at all. The roof looks amazing!”

See this roof 3 photos · Black Slate“Great product, great service, 100% satisfied. From the time I requested a quote online until a new dark charcoal slate style roof was installed on my house was under a month. A little luck on my side helped as it was a smaller, more simple job and done before their usual busy time of year. The entire Interlock team Senior Factory Representative, Installation Manager, Administrator, and Install Crew truly impressed me through the entire process. Money well spent. Thank you!”

Rain from the west coast to the east
The Island ranges from very wet on the west side, around Port Alberni and Sproat Lake, to drier around Victoria, but most roofs here spend the winter damp under firs and cedars. Aluminum absorbs nothing and cannot rot. Needles still collect in valleys and gutters, and we'll tell you what to clear and how often.
Oceanfront without the rust
From Oak Bay and Sooke to Nanoose Bay and Comox, a lot of Island homes sit close to the water. Aluminum does not rust, so salt air doesn't do to it what it does to steel.
Comox Valley and upland snow
Some winters bring heavy, wet snow to the Comox Valley and the higher ground. A metal roof sheds it, so snow guards over entries, decks and driveways go in at the estimate, and the light panels leave the framing's capacity for the snow itself.
Homes in the trees
Plenty of Island homes back onto forest. Class A is available on our roofs as a complete assembly (two layers of GAF VersaShield® over 12 mm (15/32-inch) plywood, per ASTM E108), and aluminum does not ignite.
